Our process starts with you. Your ideas, your home, your vision.
From there, we’ll guide you step-by-step towards a space that’s felt like it’s always part of your life.
Your project starts with a quick conversation. Reach out with your ideas, questions, or goals, and we’ll help you explore options, understand the next steps, and begin planning a deck that fits your home well.
Next, we’ll connect by phone or email to gather your contact details and project address. We’ll also ask what you’re hoping to build, replace, or update so we can better understand your deck goals clearly.
Once we’ve learned the basics, we’ll schedule an on-site visit to walk through your space together. During this visit, we’ll review your goals, look at the existing area, and talk through options in person clearly.
During your on-site visit, we’ll review catalog options, gather detailed project information, take measurements, take pictures, and sketch a basic deck layout.
After the on-site visit, we’ll prepare your estimate with a clear cost breakdown. If you’re interested in financing, we can also include monthly payment details before sending everything to you by email.
Once you approve the estimate, we’ll create a 3D rendering to help bring your project to life. We’ll also send your proposal for signature, along with the 50% down payment invoice.
Once your project is approved, we’ll add it to our schedule. We’ll also prepare the framing blueprint template for your township and apply for the necessary permits to keep the project moving forward.
After permits and scheduling are underway, we’ll order the materials needed for your deck. This helps ensure the right products, colors, and project details are ready before construction begins.
Before work begins, we’ll prepare a job packet for the foreman. This includes your contact information, project notes, job details, and full scope of work so the crew has clear direction on-site.
About one to two weeks before your start date, we’ll reach out with an update. This gives you time to prepare and know when our crew expects to begin your deck project.
On start day, company owner Levi will arrive with our deck crew to review the project details, introduce the team, and make sure everyone is aligned. At this stage, the 30% progress payment is invoiced.
Throughout the project, your foreman will send an email update each evening. You’ll see what was completed that day, what’s planned for the next day, and progress photos from the job site.
After construction is complete, Levi and our team will schedule a final inspection with you, review the deck using our checklist, address any needed touch-ups, and address any questions or concerns that you may have.
After the final inspection is complete, we’ll invoice the remaining 20% balance. We’ll also take finished photos to showcase your completed project on our website. Enjoy your new beautiful outdoor living space!
