Completed in 2025 on Carpet Road in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, this custom deck project was designed to create a modern outdoor living space that maximizes backyard views while providing a durable, low-maintenance area for everyday enjoyment. The homeowners wanted a deck that would complement their property’s rural setting while incorporating contemporary design features that would stand out from traditional deck construction.

At the center of the project is a spacious 24′ x 10′ composite deck finished in a rich Mahogany color. The warm tones of the decking create a welcoming outdoor environment while providing the long-term durability and easy maintenance that composite materials are known for. Unlike traditional wood decking, the composite surface requires minimal upkeep and is designed to withstand years of exposure to Pennsylvania’s changing weather conditions.

One of the defining features of this project is the white cable drink railing system. The combination of white posts and top rail with sleek cable infill creates a clean, open appearance that preserves views of the surrounding property. The integrated drink rail adds functionality by providing a convenient surface for beverages, outdoor meals, and entertaining guests.
