Large Wraparound Deck

This expansive deck in Richland, Pennsylvania, features a 38-by-12-foot main platform with an additional 5-by-10-foot section wrapping around the corner of the home. Together, the connected sections provide approximately 506 square feet of outdoor space. A picture-frame border extends around the entire deck, giving the large surface a clean and intentional finish.

The access design includes two steps leading to an existing concrete landing and a separate front staircase with approximately nine steps to grade. As part of the project, the railing and post covers on the home’s concrete porch were also replaced to coordinate the adjoining outdoor areas. The complete project included lumber, decking, railing, labor, fasteners, and miscellaneous construction supplies.
