Large Fiberon Cottage Composite Deck and Porch Upgrade in Palmyra, PA

This extensive deck reconstruction in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, replaced an aging outdoor structure with a larger, lower-maintenance space designed for entertaining, dining, and relaxing. The rebuilt deck measures approximately 34′ × 15′, providing around 510 square feet of usable outdoor living space.

The project began with the complete demolition of the existing deck. Once the previous structure was removed, the new deck was reconstructed and finished with Fiberon composite decking in the Cottage color. The warm, wood-inspired surface provides the character of traditional lumber without requiring routine painting or staining.

Superior 200 Series white vinyl railing creates a crisp border around the expansive deck. Its bright finish complements the neutral composite boards while providing a durable railing system that is easy to maintain.

In addition to rebuilding the deck, the project included finishing the nearby 31′ × 8′ porch ceiling. Approximately 248 square feet of white vinyl soffit was installed overhead, covering the unfinished ceiling and creating a brighter, cleaner appearance beneath the porch.

The combination of Fiberon decking, white vinyl railing, and matching white porch soffit ties the adjoining outdoor areas together. The finished project gives the home a more polished exterior while providing considerably more room for everyday outdoor use.
