Enclosed Deck Renovation with New Windows in Myerstown, PA

Completed in 2026, this custom enclosed deck renovation in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, updated an aging outdoor room with new decking, exterior finishes, windows, a storm door, and structural repairs.
Castlegate decking was installed to create a durable, low-maintenance floor with a warm, natural appearance. Coordinating fascia was installed around the exterior and interior window areas where needed, providing a consistent, professionally finished look.
The enclosure’s walls were finished with plywood and Ageless Slate vinyl siding. New white vinyl, no-grid windows were installed within the existing openings, including 44.5″ × 66.75″ and 39″ × 66.75″ units. The windows were configured as double-hung or sliding units to provide natural light, ventilation, and easy operation.
A white 36″ × 80″ 400 Series storm door with three-quarter glass and a retractable screen provides convenient access while allowing additional airflow during pleasant weather.
During construction, areas of rot were discovered and addressed with miscellaneous framing repairs and replacement materials. The planned transom window and foam insulation were deducted from the final project scope. The completed renovation provides a brighter, cleaner, and more functional enclosed outdoor living space.
