Completed in 2026, this custom 16′ × 17′ composite deck in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, provides 272 square feet of covered outdoor living space. The design combines low-maintenance TimberTech decking with white vinyl finishes and an attached roof-over for protection from sun and rain.

TimberTech Prime Collection decking in Sea Salt Gray creates a clean, contemporary surface with improved resistance to moisture, fading, staining, and everyday wear. A hidden-fastener system was used throughout most of the deck, with visible fasteners limited to the starter boards and fascia.

Matching Sea Salt Gray composite or PVC fascia finishes the deck’s exposed edges, while white fascia wraps the supporting beam for a crisp contrast. The pressure-treated frame is supported by 6″ × 6″ posts attached to a double beam and resting on 8,000 PSI footer pads installed approximately 36 inches below the surface. White four-piece vinyl sleeves conceal the structural posts.

The ledger board was matched to the height of the joists and secured to the home using 5-inch LedgerLOK fasteners. Silicone sealant and Z-flashing help prevent water from collecting behind the ledger.

White 200 Series vinyl railings surround the deck and stairs. Four-foot-wide pressure-treated stairs feature TimberTech Prime Collection composite treads, matching fascia, and custom-cut stringers designed to meet the exact finished grade.

An attached pressure-treated lean-to roof-over expands the usability of the deck throughout the seasons. The roof features Biscayne Blue shingles, white vertical siding, gutters, a downspout, and a finished white vinyl soffit ceiling. A ceiling-fan cutout was incorporated into the design, and a 3.5″ × 12″ LVL beam provides additional structural support.

Building plans and permit processing were included as part of the complete deck installation.
