Completed in 2025, this extensive deck renovation project on Mine Road in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania transformed an aging outdoor space into a functional and inviting backyard retreat designed for comfort, accessibility, and outdoor enjoyment. Because the property is located within a homeowners association, both HOA approval and local building permits were secured before construction began, ensuring the project met all community guidelines and municipal requirements.
The homeowners wanted to modernize their existing deck while creating a protected outdoor area that could be enjoyed throughout multiple seasons. Deck Zone began by renovating and upgrading the existing 38′ x 14′ deck structure, replacing outdated materials with low-maintenance Sea Salt Gray composite decking. The light coastal-inspired decking color provides a clean, contemporary appearance while delivering exceptional durability and resistance to weathering.
One of the most distinctive features of this project is the custom-built 12′ x 22′ screened-in room. This spacious enclosure provides protection from insects while allowing the homeowners to enjoy fresh air, outdoor dining, and family gatherings without the inconveniences often associated with open-air outdoor spaces.
